Get to know the bakery behind your favourite pastries
Boudreau Pastry Shop started with a simple belief: good pastry comes from patience and honest ingredients. Today we bake fresh for Toronto, one batch at a time.
Who's behind the croissants?
One baker, trained in classic technique, handles every dough by hand at Boudreau Pastry Shop in Toronto. No shortcuts, no premixes.

Head Baker & Founder
Samuel Hansen
Samuel trained in classic pastry technique and bakes every batch himself. He believes a croissant should shatter, not bend, and he checks each tray before it leaves the oven.

Pastry Chef
Mei Lin
Mei joined the shop to focus on fine finishing work. She handles the tarts, the plated desserts, and the details that make each order feel intentional.
Simple ingredients, baked with care
Quality ingredients make the difference. We bake in small batches with real butter, fresh fruit, and chocolate we'd happily eat ourselves.

Real butter, always
Every croissant and tart shell starts with European-style butter for real flavour.

Fresh fruit, daily
Seasonal fruit from local markets goes into our tarts and finishes our cakes.

Chocolate worth it
We use single-origin chocolate with deep flavour. It shows in every bite.

Baked fresh each morning
Pastries come out of the oven the same day you eat them. Nothing sits overnight.

Plated to impress
Every dessert platter is arranged to look as good as it tastes. For events, this matters.

Custom cakes, finished well
We bake custom cakes for birthdays and weddings in Toronto, finished smooth and polished.
Why Toronto keeps coming to Boudreau for pastries
Families and event planners across the city trust our bakery for birthdays, mid-week treats, and everything in between.
The croissants taste like the ones I had in Paris, but I don't have to fly there anymore. I stop in every Saturday and they're always still warm.

Priya Sharma
Regular customer in Leslieville
Boudreau made the dessert table for our office launch and it was the first thing people talked about. The tarts were gone in ten minutes.

Marcus Chen
Marketing manager at a Toronto startup
They baked our wedding cake last summer and it was exactly what we asked for, buttercream and all. Months later, guests still mention it.

Chloe Dubois
Lives near the Beaches
Our family has ordered from Boudreau for three birthdays in a row now. The cake is always fresh and the kids know to save room for it.
